Vulai swapped the highlands for the coast in April 2026. Set on the white sand of Nyali at The Reef Hotel — a Mombasa institution since 1972 — the Beach Hangout brought the Vulai sound to the ocean. Sundowner sets gave way to a lineup fifteen artists deep, mixing comedy, gospel, hip-hop and traditional Luhya music in one night. The crowd came for the music; they left already asking when the next coast edition lands.
